I have an eye for design, too.*

*Just not web design. Clearly ;)

When I'm done wordsmithing from 9-5, I start silversmithing in the Fashion Institute of Technology's Jewelry Design program. And not to brag (I'm bragging), but I've had the opportunity to do some pretty cool stuff in the world of fashion so far.

Leading with a non-traditional format, the team put on a hilariously cute dog show judged by comedians to debut their pet lines. And yes, that means the models were DOGS.

On the Susan Alexandra Fashion Week team, I brought some color to their day by working with dog handlers to dress the pets for the runway and organizing their outfits with jewelry. Hayley Williams said it's "the most fun I've ever had attending a fashion show."

Did you hear that, Prada!?

I worked a NYFW show for my favorite jewelry brand and I fell in love with all the models.

And now, I'm learning to make my own jewelry.

I started learning Jewelry Design at FIT last year and I've been working in mostly traditional methods since. Take a look at some of my favorite rings so far!
